Advertisement Contest Rules:
ELIGIBILITY: Ads must be submitted by graphic designers from free circulation publications who are members of at least one of the national, regional or state associations.
DESCRIPTION: The ad size must be 3 1/2” wide by 5” deep. The ad must include the Free Paper logo (shown below), the PaperChain logo and information (in the size as shown), and the dates for Free Paper Week, March 15-21, 2009. The ad must be an original creation. Any ads suspected of being spec ads or reproductions from general resources will be eliminated from the contest.

REQUIREMENTS:

2. Each ad must include the following information for qualification: FREE PAPER WEEK March 15-21, 2009, FREE PAPER WEEK & PaperChain Logo, Other general information pertaining to the industry to help promote Free Paper Week.
3. The ad must be 3-1/2” wide by 5” deep. Ad must include the Free Paper Week and PaperChain logos. Please allow 1” for publications to include their information.
4. The designs must created to be used as a black and white, black one pantone color (supply #) and CMYK.
5. For submission purposes, the ad must be provided in PDF format (fonts and subset fonts embedded), and emailed to info@macpa.net. Subject line must read: 2009 FREE PAPER AD CONTEST.
6. Submit your entries by email only to: info@macpa.net
SUBMISSIONS: The only form of submission will be as a PDF format (per instructions) to an Association of which your publication is a member. Subject line MUST read: 2009 FREE PAPER AD CONTEST.

PRIZE: THREE PRELIMINARY WINNERS WILL BE CHOSEN AND AWARDED $100 EACH. THE GRAND PRIZE WINNER FROM THESE THREE WINNERS WILL RECEIVE $500 AND FEATURED IN THE NATIONAL PUBLICATIONS. The judges will be chosen at the discreation of the PaperChain Committee. All decisions of the judges are final. All taxes due on the winning prize will be the responsibility of the winner; all submissions become property of PaperChain and its members and cannot be returned. The entry constitutes permission to use entrant’s name/photo for publicity purposes and the entrant releases all proprietary rights to the ad.
Winner will be announced August 2008.
