The six regional free paper associations represent free-circulation community papers in over 40 states around the country.

State Free Paper Associations

Eight state free paper associations have members that are owners, publishers, general managers and sales managers of free-circulation community newspapers throughout their individual states. Membership ranges from small, independently owned publications with circulations under 5,000, to divisions of major communications companies publishing hundreds of thousands of copies weekly. The common denominator among all the memberships is that all publications are distributed free-of-charge to readers in the area they serve.
